What are some good quality watches under $500?

I am looking for a watch that I can wear to work in scrubs but also looks good if I want to wear it with a suit.
I was looking at Tissot which make some pretty affordable Swiss watches. I know I won't be getting Omega quality or anything
You seem to be posting a lot the same question. See other answers. You are right to be wary of Hugo Boss and Diesel etc as many of these name brands merely re-badge a lower quality ebauche than you can get for the same money from a genuine watchmaking

I personally like Nixon's line, they look very classy and sophisticated! Michael Kors has some nice looking pieces, too. I'd try them!

In you price range the best quality Swiss watches would include Bulova, Doxa, Olma, Certina, Sandoz, Roamer and Tissot, possibly even a Mido. The best American watches are from Ball or Hamilton but their watches tend to be above $500. Seiko and Citizen
