Pembroke Police Beat: Stolen cash, missing jewelry and a heist from Lowe's

Pembroke Police responded to a report of theft outside of the Pembroke Food Pantry on Feb. 29.

According to Pembroke Police Lt. Mike Jenness, the victim was parked in front of the pantry and had ventured into town to get lunch.

“He apparently left his doors unlocked and $180 in cash on the vehicle’s dashboard,” Jenness said. “When he got back, it was gone.”

Thankfully, Jenness said, there was an active security camera in the area, which caught the suspect in action.

After seeing the tape, police were able to identify Ahron Bedrosian, 35, of 9 Pudding Brook Dr., Pembroke.

“We caught up with him and he admitted to taking the cash,” Jenness said. “I guess the temptation was too great.”

Bedrosian was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle and larceny under $250.
