Should I get myself a matching promise ring or wait?

First off, we are both girls. On May 5th is my girlfriend and I's 3 year anniversary and I was going to get her a promise ring. It's just a simple band that will say something cute on the outside and I am going to have the date engraved on the inside.

I would buy two. Buying one for your self isn't dumb its a really nice idea. Congrats.
