The truth is, a lot of the time my mother inlaw is nice to me & many times she gave me the impression she shows favoritism towards me compared to her other daughter inlaw. And she invites me to go to many functions~like home accent/furniture parties

I do find that your attempt at getting more information about her feelings about her love for her parents while dead was an odd question. Maybe she goes next to her Father because that is their tradition or that's the next plot available or the plot is
