Jan. 26-30: Forced Entry Crimes Persist

On Tuesday, Jan. 3 a nearby Orangevale home was burglarized while the residents were away, according to a report filed by Sacramento County Sheriff's Department deputies. It happened around 8 a.m. on the 7300 block of Walnut Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s locked residence by prying open the side door. The suspect(s) entered the residence and took several items, including a flat screen TV, jewelry and game systems. Suspect(s) also ransacked each room. No arrests have been made.

A routine probation search of a Fair Oaks resident John Householder's cellular phone produced a text message from an unidentified party believed to be inquiring about the availability of narcotics. Householder was on probation for prior narcotic-related offenses. The Jan. 20 search also lead deputies to discover a pouch containing methamphetamine in separate packages. Also located in the room were items associated with the distribution of narcotics including a digital scale and unused packaging materials. Householder's possession of narcotics and associated items and his contact with known narcotic users violates the terms of his probation. Householder was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on felony and misdemeanor charges of violating parole, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute (HS 11378; HS 1177-A). During a search of Householder's room, a wallet with methamphetamine was located. Upon further investigation the wallet, identification in it was found to be that of Householder's live-in girlfriend, Ange Adams. She was also booked at the jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
