I'm at the point that I have suddenly realized, my fiance will be in need of a wedding ring. I asked him what he wanted and he said it didn't matter, but especially that his blind doesn't require a lot of diamonds (but apparently some are okay).

In September 2010 we carried a story about Kathleen Nowak Tucci , the Atmore artist whose recycled jewelry adorned an haute-couture model on the August cover of Vogue Italia. The 24-page “Water & Oil” photo spread by Steven Meisel, inspired by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, showed oil-covered models wearing Tucci-designed pieces.
Controversial, perhaps, but the magazine exposure vaulted Tucci into the media spotlight. Among other honors, her work was accepted into the 29th annual Smithsonian Craft Show in April 2011 in Washington, D.C. Tucci, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., spent years in Shreveport and Baton Rouge, La.
