Ok. So, I'm being inducted in the National Junior Honor Society tomorrow, and it's a formal thing. I want a formal up-do i can do easily. My dress is a strapless, with the top part silver, and then a navy blue bow separating that section from the bottom

here's an idea!
french braid your bangs (if you have any) of just the front part of your hair, make sure it goes upwards so it easily fits into an up-do.
then, you can leave two small pieces of your hair down at the sides and curl them

Brooks — who lost the use of both arms because of a childhood affliction — also uses her feet to work in her trade of jewelry making.
At the recent Community Affair Fine Arts & Crafts Show at Warm Mineral Springs, Brooks sat on the ground at her booth while she crafted her art.
With simian dexterity, Brooks used her right foot to steady her partially functional left hand, then grasped and strung beads with her toes, and finally crimped ornaments into place with a finger-clench of the pliers.
Visitors to the craft fair share a reaction with many people who meet Brooks: one of astonishment at her craft, but also how she has overcome her disability and now uses it as a way to inspire others.
"This is an interesting population," Brooks said while at the recent craft fair that drew mostly elderly folks, many of them foreigners. "I suspect they're a little afraid."
